My name is Katie Yaksich and this is my very first weblog. This website will contain my work in progress for my personal portfolio that I am creating. I am almost done working on my Master’s Degree in Social Studies Secondary Education with an anticipated graduation date of December 2008. I plan on making my classes interesting by showing the students that history can be exciting and past topics can correlate to real-world learning and ideas.
